Welcome to the NCCCI application, proudly presented by the Noor Cultural Community Centre ("Your community. Your spiritual home."). We are dedicated to providing you with accurate prayer schedules, Qibla direction, Quran reading, daily Adhkar, and mosque community announcements.
This Privacy Policy explains the nature of data accessed by the application, how it is processed on your device, and how we safeguard your privacy in strict compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and Google Play Store policies.
2. Information Collection and Device Permissions
Location Data (GPS & Network)
Purpose: To calculate exact daily prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, Sunrise) and compute the precise directional azimuth to the Holy Kaaba in Makkah (Qibla).
Processing & Storage: Location coordinates are processed locally on your device. We do not track your real-time movements and we never store your location history on central servers. You can toggle location access anytime in device settings.
Camera Access (Qibla AR)
Purpose: Used exclusively for the optional Augmented Reality (AR) Qibla Finder to superimpose compass directional guidance on your device screen viewfinder.
Processing & Storage: The camera feed is processed strictly in real-time in device memory. We do not capture, record, store, or transmit any pictures or video streams.
Notifications & Alarms
Purpose: To deliver timely Adhan prayer reminders, daily Khatma Wird reminders, and important announcements from Noor Cultural Community Centre.
Processing & Storage: Prayer alarms are scheduled locally. Push notifications are delivered using anonymous Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens that are not tied to your personal identity.
Local Storage & Preferences
Purpose: To save your user preferences (Madhab, calculation method, dark/light theme, bookmarks, Khatma progress, and downloaded Quran pages/Tafsir).
Processing & Storage: Stored strictly in local app storage on your device. All preferences are wiped upon uninstalling the app.

- 100% Ad-Free: The application contains no commercial advertisements or third-party behavioral profiling trackers.

The application is safe for families and children of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). If you believe personal information has been provided, please contact us for immediate deletion.
6. Your Rights & Data Control
Under GDPR and data protection laws, you maintain complete control over your data:
- You can reset bookmarks, reading history, and preferences inside the app at any time.
- You can revoke Location, Camera, or Notification permissions via your device settings.
- You can delete all application data permanently by clearing the app cache/storage or uninstalling the app.
